Myopia Glasses

A science driven film introducing an innovative eyewear solution designed to combat the growing global myopia epidemic.

This project addresses myopia, a leading eye health threat projected by the World Health Organization to affect half the world’s population by 2050, with a billion people at risk of severe complications. Designed by Todd Bracher, the glasses emit a specific 480nm light spectrum that promotes healthy eye development by replicating the protective effects of natural sunlight. Through detailed renders and animation, the film reveals both the design process and the glasses’ functional light emission, highlighting a patent-pending, kid-friendly approach aimed at tackling myopia at scale. Studio Newland created this reveal film alongside supporting visuals to showcase the product’s science and aesthetics, offering an accessible, innovative response to a complex health challenge.
